Your car doesn’t start in the morning. “Guess I don’t have to workout”, you might say. Well the car breaking down doesn’t stop you from working out, it stopped you from going to the place you usually workout at. Focusing on the car doesn’t help you get the workout done, only the latter. You could do quick home workout, play a brain game on your phone, do a little stretching maybe.
We must focus on the things that allow us to accomplish our goals, that the things that get in the way, which is generally just an obstacle along the path to your goal anyway.
Focus on the things that will get you where you want to go, more than the things that hinder getting you there as fast as you want, and you will experience a far optimally achieved goal.
