Your Problem Isn’t Weight Loss

It’s not the scale. Or is it? It’s not the fact that your weight didn’t go down, maybe went up, or even did go down. If you lost 10lbs but didn’t do anything to do it, is that a win? If you gained weight, but stuck to your diet fairly well, hit your workouts and kept your entire life together, is that a loss? Losing weight doesn’t help you with your weight loss.

Weight loss is a byproduct of the habits you form while starting your journey of losing weight. Stop focusing on the scale so much. Weight loss doesn’t happen, nor does it stick around, unless you have habits formed around that.

So if you’re feeling down about the fact that you’re working hard, maybe even gained weight, the real question is.. are you consistently putting in the effort and work you know you need to, to form the habits of where your goals lie?

If so, stop worrying and give yourself a pat on the back. If not, you know what you need to change. And we both know, your problem isn’t in losing weight.
